Wondering What To Do With Your Gently Used Medical Equipment?
The Choice Care receives hundreds of calls each week from people asking what they should do with their used medical equipment when they no longer need it. The Choice Care accepts medical equipment and supplies, including but not limited to:
- Walkers
- Wheelchairs (e.g., manual and power)
- Crutches
- Scooters
- Gloves (including opened packages)
- Briefs and pull-ups (including opened packages)
- Wipes (e.g., baby, disposable washcloths, etc.)
- Personal Hygiene Products (e.g., body wash, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc.)
What does The Choice Care do with donated medical equipment and supplies?
Donating your gently used medical equipment is a great option. The Choice Care uses medical equipment and supplies with people and families that need them. For example, someone with ALS or Alzheimers will have ongoing and changing needs. They might use a manual wheelchair at first, but eventually need a power wheelchair; once they reach the end-stages of the disease, they will not need a wheelchair at all.
To donate medical equipment and supplies, call The Choice Care’s office at 253-508-8538.
